Adelaide illustrator Harrison Vial has always loved drawing, particularly nature and scenes that feel like they belong to a story. He has carved out a unique style for his work using a blend of traditional and digital techniques, achieving the textures and looseness that comes from that process.
New to the world of commercial illustration I was fortunate to be selected by The Illustration Room for representation soon after graduating from art school and then landed my first picture book, EGG with UQ Press which has already been shortlisted for awards. The experience of creating that book with the team at UQ Press was career changing for me.
